A Visual Art & Literature Experiment Artworks: Christina Calbari Writers: Argyris Chionis, Christos Chomenidis, Katerina Chrysanthopoulou, Sotiris Dimitriou, Yiannis Ifantis, Vasilis Katsikonouris, Lena Kitsopoulou, Elias Maglinis, Vasilis Mavrogeorgiou, Amanda Michalopoulou, Ersi Sotiropoulou, Alexis Stamatis,Theofylos Trampoulis, Soti Triantafyllou, Nanos Valaoritis, Lia Vitali, Thanasis Chimonas, Marianna Calbari In the event of the exhibition “Paignia” (“Games”) in 2011, Christina Calbari invited several writers and poets to participate in a visual-literature “experiment”: The participating authors have been asked to write a story, a poem, a short narrative, triggered by Calbari’s visual imagery. A Book, a Workshop, an Exhibition Curated by Christina Calbari & Kostas Daflos (architect) A collection of essays and artworks by 40 architects, artists, theorists and academics aiming at the documentation of Athens’ transitional phase during the preparation for the Olympic Games. The book has been the result of a two years' inter-artistic workshop (organised by A-Station Center of Contemporary Art) followed by an exhibition at the Byzantine Museum of Athens (Dec 2005) organized by the Greek Architects Association_Athens.
